Hi! I’m Hans. The most important thing you need to know about me is that I’m a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ  was sent to earth 2000 years ago to die for sinners like me so that those who accept His free gift of salvation can live with the hope of having eternal life in Heaven beyond life on this earth. Consequently, I look at the world and the events that happen to me and others through a Biblical worldview. I believe our lives here on earth are just a mist in comparison to eternity (James 4:14) and what we believe about God is perhaps the most important thing about us. You will see this influence is many of my posts.

In addition to being a Christian, I am a Husband and father. I have been married to my bride since 2007 and we have four beautiful (but often ornery) children whom I love very deeply.

Professionally, I am an educator by trade with 18 years experience in public and private education and am also a Maxwell Leadership trained speaker, trainer and coach. I have always been passionate about leadership and personal development and have spent many years studying these principals and have sought to apply them to my life. I am not so interested in teaching theories as I am in teaching and sharing the principles that have made a difference in my life.

Other than that, I would say that I am somewhat of a fitness junkie. Many of the success principles I have learned in life have been first learned and applied on my fitness journey. Additionally, my favorite hobby is golf, though I don’t play nearly as much as I’d like due to my family and professional commitments.
